Bruno-Kreisky-Park — Attraction in Vienna

Adjacent to the U4 tube station Margaretengürtel, this park is tucked in at the corner of the “Gürtel” (part of the city’s outer beltway) and Schönbrunnerstrasse (the road leading to the castle by the same name). One of the many small parks that dot the Vienna cityscape, it’s trees offer sufficient shade on a hot summer day, but also many sunny spots if that is what you are looking for. Benches and tables, hammocks, a separately fenced in playground and a number kiosks (chinese, turkish, beverages, bakery, tobacconist) are within a minute’s walk. Very calm, and culturally diverse park. There is always something going on but it's never too exciting for an afternoon nap. It is also well cooled during the summer. A film festival in May called "Sci-fi im Park" is always worth a visit, and let's the whole neighborhood enjoy various science fiction movies for free. It's a nice and open park with plenty of sitting spaces. It's really close to the metro station which makes it a great park if you want to kill time but be on the go real quick.
