Monte Rosa — Restaurant in Vienna

We entered at 6.20 PM. You, dear Monte Rosa team, had warned us that the table was available until 7.30 only. Thus, we ordered one dish each, nothing more. Food finally arrived at 7.20 (and we had to order our drinks again as they had been forgotten). 8 minutes later your waiter appears and talks to the guests next to us: "They just started eating and they have 1 minute and 30 seconds left.". Then he turns around and tells us "you knew from the beginning that this table was available until 7.30 only." This was extremely embarrassing not only for us but also for the other guest who were indeed waiting for our table for the second part of our group.

Following that, you brought the bill, took away our plates and basically kicked us out - only to tell us that another table was free until 8.30. We finished our drinks there, you offered an apologetic grappa / limoncello on the house and off we went.

EXTREMELY unprofessional and unfriendly handling of a standard situation. We totally would have understood if you had moved us to that other table in peaceful terms.

Food was pricey but ok, decent home delivery quality I'd say. Maybe you should focus on that field in future, dear Monte Rosa. Less professionalism and friendliness required.

"Am FR 25.8. Abend war ich mit Freunden, Stammgästen von Ihnen, bei Ihnen essen. In meinem Salat fand sich ein Stück durchsichtiges mittelhartes Plastik, ca 1x2cm groß. Natürlich kann das passieren, auch wenn ich das nicht so toll finde. Was mich aber dann WIRKLICH irritiert hat, war, dass sich unser Kellner in keiner Weise betroffen zeigte, so, ja, werd ich dem Koch sagen, kam als Reaktion ungefähr. KEINE ENTSCHULDIGUNG. Auch der 2. Kellner, der kassierte, reagierte ähnlich. KEINE ENTSCHULDIGUNG. Mir wurde durch die Reaktion der Kellner vermittelt: „über was sich die Gäste heutzutage beschweren…“ Ich finde das Lokal schön und das Essen gut, aber die Reaktion des Personals hat in mir etwas Unangenehmes zurückgelassen, und ich weiß nicht, ob ich wiederkomme."

Seit 2 Wochen warte ich auf eine Antwort durch das Monte Rosa Team, die vermutlich nicht mehr kommen wird. Das ist definitiv kein wertschätzender Umgang mit Gästen. Das wirkt so, als ob das Geschäft läuft und der/die einzelne Kund/in in der vorhandenen Menge nicht mehr zählt- so etwas kann sich aber schnell ändern, wenn sich solche Situationen herumsprechen. Mir ging es nicht darum, ein großes Drama aus der Sache zu machen, das habe ich auch nicht, aber eine aufrichtige Entschuldigung habe ich mir, zurecht, wie ich meine, erwartet. Meinen Lebensgefährten und mich hat die Pizzeria als Gäste definitiv verloren. Mag....
