RAKU - Tasty Asia — Restaurant in Vienna

I discovered this place only recently. While making my order, the employee was very forthcoming, nice and patient. As I came to pick it up, I was delighted with the modern and clean interior which was topped by custom branded packaging and napkins, obviously someone has put a lot of thought, money and effort into it, which is a huge difference to the competitors in the area. For me, this is always a good sign that the food will be good too. Anyways, the lady I spoke to on the telephone continued to be very friendly and nice in person as well. Cool, elegant Interieur, warmed up by tasteful Buddha-depictions and the mural of a lotus pond. Excellent lunch boxes - really filling, good quality, at a surprisingly affordable price. I had to try their dessert chestnut dumplings (Maroni in Blätterteig): they were nice and the presentation lovely; however, the otherwise wonderful mango sauce completely overrode the subtle chestnut flavor. Maybe a chocolate-with-rum sauce, instead? The dishes were served extremely quickly and the staff was very friendly; it was not easy, though, to get their attention, despite being just a few meters away. We'll be back soon to enjoy this...

They make nice maki rolls, and I loved their noodle soup very much. I highly recommend beef noodle soup and Yuzu Spritz.

My husband and I only had 1 noodle soup and 2 maki rolls, and we were very full! The portions are very generous, so we left the restaurant feeling very satisfied.
