🇮🇹 Poche pretese, tanta sostanza! Si spende poco (la metà che a Vienna) e si mangia da dio! Il propietario è un macedone di origini albanesi, e propone, oltre alla cucina tipica viennese, anche piatti della tradizione balcanica, come cevapvici o rajnici alla piastra. L’oste (per nulla burbero come descritto in alcune recensioni) è stato super ospitale e disponibile, ci ha anche fatto giocare a freccette nonostante stessimo sforando l’orario di chiusura. Unica pecca i tempi di attesa sopra la media. In conclusione, parliamo di un piccolo locale/pub nella periferia di vienna, un po’ scarno nell’aspetto e ad occhi attenti magari anche poco curato: se abbandonate le pretese dei ristoranti pettinati, potete peró ritrovare la cultura dell’ospitalità e del ben mangiare che spesso si perde nella freddezza di vienna.

The owner is a Macedonian of Albanian origin, and in addition to typical Viennese cuisine, he also offers Balkan traditional dishes like grilled cevapcici or rajnici. The host (not gruff at all, contrary to what some reviews say) was extremely hospitable and helpful—he even let us play darts past closing time.

The only downside was the above-average wait time.

In conclusion, we’re talking about a small bar/pub on the outskirts of Vienna, a bit bare in appearance and maybe not the most polished if you look closely—but if you let go of fancy restaurant expectations, you can rediscover the culture of hospitality and good eating that often gets lost in Vienna’s...

Wir waren eine große Gruppe (Eigentümerversammlung) von rund 40 Personen, wir hatten einige Wochen im Vorhinein reserviert und bei der Reservierung ausdrücklich dazu gesagt, dass eine Hausversammlung durchgeführt wird. Als am Tag der Reservierung der Restaurantleiter erfährt (hatte er wohl vergessen), dass es sich um eine Eigentümerversammlung handelt, bestreitet er jegliche Reservierung, verhängte an alle Teilnehmenden der Versammlung ein Verbot über die Abhaltung und den Besuch seines Lokals ("weil solche Versammlungen nichts konsumieren"). Das Lokal war zu diesem Zeitpunkt nur von 2 Gästen besucht, keine anstehenden Reservierungen waren auf den Tischen vorgemerkt. Aus meiner Sicht hätte so gut wie jeder TN der Versammlung 1-2 Getränke bestellt und auch bestimmt mindestens 10 Personen eine Speise.
