A must try if you are visiting Baku and want to have an authentic taste of the local dishes! The restaurant is traditionally decorated with beautiful artwork and carpets. Read moreYes, it is a touristy restaurant. What of it? The food is superb and the night I was there the music selection was skilled and classy, although I would have preferred less cover tunes.
For me the standouts were the camel bites, the fried « viziers advice » and a very good boiled dough sheet dish topped with lamb bits and fried onion. There was also very good lamb shank braised in greens that tasted more Persian to me. Do get the bouquet like salad of local herbs tomatoes...
