2025 update: We dined at Aquafire this past Sunday afternoon. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere inviting, and the service truly stood out. Our server, John, made the afternoon unforgettable. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient throughout our meal. What really set him apart was his warmth and personal touch—especially when he helped us celebrate a special occasion. It was my mother’s birthday, and John arranged a lively birthday song and surprised her with a slice of red velvet ice cream cake topped with a lit candle. The gesture brought so much joy to the table. As for the food, every dish was vibrant and full of flavor: We started with a plate of crispy conch fritters, golden-brown and perfectly fried, served with a creamy dipping sauce that added a tangy kick and a plate of chicken wings. Next up was the watermelon and feta salad was fresh and refreshing—an ideal blend of sweet watermelon, tangy cheese, red onions, and mixed greens, served with a rich balsamic dressing. Our entrees included: Grilled salmon topped with a vibrant mango salsa and paired with well-seasoned peas and rice; a colorful veggie stir-fry with white rice and a savory brown sauce, sprinkled with sesame seeds; Grilled chicken breast topped with sautéed mushrooms and onions, served with white rice and steamed vegetables; stew conch, rich in color and bursting with flavor and Tender, BBQ ribs served with coconut rice and mixed vegetables—finger-licking good! We’ll definitely be back! 2019: Brunch at Aquafire was just divine. The wait staff were very friendly and super helpful. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and seated quickly. The menu offered a wide selection from which to choose. The food was delicious and full of flavor and the portion sizes huge. Will definitely visit again.

We initially stopped here because it was right down the street from our VRBO and in the direction we were heading. What a find! The outdoor seating is covered, but bright and airy. There are plants hanging everywhere and it just has a very polished boutique but island feel (hard to explain but easy to enjoy!) Don was our server and was very friendly and helpful. Lunch and drinks came out quickly and were delicious! The Aquafire lemonade was so good! We had burgers, soup and sushi. The portions were on point, so no leftovers. We were so impressed, we decided to come back twice after that. The next time for dinner takeout, and we sat at the outside bar for drinks while we waited. Marvin was the bartender and wondered great conversation while watching him make drinks. I would recommend trying the blackberry mojito or Skyjuice. Marvin gave some suggestions about local interests and fare, too. What a nice guy! Our takeout dinners did not disappoint: were packed well and of course, cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Dinner portions were generous and we had a little leftovers for lunch the next day. Our last stop here was for eat-in dinner on our last night in the Bahamas. We had the pleasure of Marvin being our server. Again, excellent dinner in a beautiful, chill atmosphere with top notch service. Very generous dinner portions for the shrimp scampi! In all, this place checks all the boxes. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch, dinner or just drinks. It is worth the stop!! There is also a cat that wanders around. Apparently she showed up a couple years ago and never left, so the restaurant has essentially adopted her. I believe her name is Aqua, and my kids enjoyed petting her and feeding her bits of the meat left in the shrimp tails. Super sweet cat.

I torn on how many stars to actually give this place I walked in at about 7:00 and they allegedly closed the grill at around 8:00 and the server came over dropped off a menu and then left came back and when I was going to order drinks asked us to place our order for food as well instead of just drinks so we didn't have much time to look I ordered the steak and lobster and the steak was regular sirloin steak and the lobster was a little dry and that was about $60 give and take I then try to ask him to order for dessert for me and my wife since it was our 7 year anniversary and we went to the Bahamas to celebrate and he told us we should have ordered it earlier but the table next to me was still ordering food after he said this overall if I would have had a different server and the food was better I would give this location five stars the atmosphere was nice it was a little upscale but for the price of $130 for steak lobster and one salmon and a fruit punch and one beer feel is a little pricey for what it was overall I would give them a second shot and maybe I'll try going earlier and hopefully get a different waitress and cook.

We were staying at a local resort nearby and after a relaxing couples massage, decided to stroll over for a quick, simple meal. But, that is far from what happened. From the stylish entrance, to the warm greetings (and this restaurant actually checks to see your COVID documents, unlike other restaurants!), we were brought to a lovely table outside with a view of the ocean; white table cloth; candles; and anti-bug candles. Our waiter, Stephuno, could not have made us feel more welcomed. He took such interest in our experience, that you’d think he was the owner or chef. He asked if we had any dining requests: ours was that we ate fish but no meat/poultry/shellfish. Well in short, he told us what we were eating from the menu - and what an elegant and refined menu he provided! From the tasty and vibrantly red rum runner, to the Buffalo cauliflower appetizer, then a watermelon salad (which he did warn us was going to be too much food, but the menu just looked too good to pass over!), and then Mahi Mahi and the grouper entrees, we probably had one of our best meals ever (and we’ve been around the world and live in NY, home to great dining!). Plates were presented elegantly. Portions were quite large. And so flavorful. We finished off dinner with dessert: Guava Duff. And Stephuno provided us with after dinner drinks. If only the curfew didn’t force us out of the restaurant by 10, we’d probably have stayed later. We mentioned to Stephuno that we’re coming back the next night (for the Hog Snapper), which of course we did..and that was amazing too. It so happened that while speaking to Stephuno, I mentioned I was looking to purchase a Conch as a souvenir so inquired where to get it. He told us that it’s all taken care of - and when we arrived for our second dinner, he handed me a gorgeous Conch souvenir - a gift from him! If you are in Nassau and missed eating here for dinner, you might have actually missed one of the best culinary experiences...
