This meal was fantastic - one of our best on the island. You must try this place. We got a large tropical Conch, old fashioned scorch and sky juice for $50 - this was more than enough for 4 people.

The tropical conch salad was the best we've had on the island so far. We chose to get medium spice level - I thought it was perfect, but others in my group thought it was a bit too spicy, so if you can't handle spice, go for a mild, otherwise try medium or hot.

We also had the old fashioned scorch - which was larger pieces of conch. Also really tasty.

The sky juice was also good, but I'm not sure it was worth $10.

There were a lot of locals who were friendly to talk to. Definitely visit this place if you can!

It took about 45-60 minutes for us to get food - there were 3 orders ahead of us, so be prepared to wait. Most of the places we've eaten on this island have had similar waits, so it wasn't anything out of the ordinary.

They also take credit cards, so that's a plus.

There is no indoor seating - but the outdoor seating is chill. There is a beautiful view of the sea right across from the restaurant.

My photos don't really do the Conch dishes justice - they are way better than the...

This place preserves, in a highly elevated way, Bahamas cuisine and its homage to the great shelled creature conch. Start with the conch fritters, a perfect balance of textures, seasoning, packed with bits of conch and conch juice, fried crispy with a crunchy exterior and a dreamy soft, seafood explosion at its center. There is a spicy sauce to company it but honestly not needed. They are perfect as is. The guy behind the fryer … came to check on my obvious, satisfaction, boasted of their abundant fill of chopped conch. Next was the conch salad. They do two styles. One fruit fortified and the other, just lime, chopped conch, bits of veggies. I chose this. Watching these guys prepare it from the open kitchen was fascinating. They chop the creature, mix, squeeze, season and toss until satisfied they’re ready to fill your cup with this goodness. I loved mine so much, I took a second to go. Serious no miss if here a the Bahamas and seeking the best of local food and culture. The Arawak fish fry versions, didn’t stand up to the creative genius and heart this place has in its dedication to the conch. A foodies must. Love this food. Portions are ample and...

Service and attitude of the young lady with the braids and shaved sides was ABHORRENT. After driving all the way out there to get my brother a salad for his bday and waiting for well over an hour I asked how much longer we had to wait. She ignored me. I asked again and was COMPLETELY ignored. 20 minutes after asking for a final update I went inside and asked the cashier for a refund and complained about the long wait. (At this point we were well over an hour waiting) The cashier walked outside, spoke to the braided lady and came back and said "they just bowled up your order, once the order is made we dont give refunds.".😳 I was stunned and told her point blank give me back my money or call the police. The cashier got the manager on the phone and her remedy after hearing my complaint was to ask If i wanted a free drink. Of course I declined. I had my monies angrily stuffed into my hand by the cashier and we left. I will never patronize that business again and hope they make the changes necessary to improve their ever worsening reputation of DEPLORABLE customer service and long wait for a salad that isnt much better than which can be...

A truly unique and unforgettable Bahamian experience! We had never tried anything like conch salad before, so this was totally new territory for us, and wow, what a ride for the taste buds! The conch was so fresh and the salad was bursting with bold, zesty flavors, spicy, fruity, tangy, and limey all at once. It even reminded me a little of Indian BHEL (minus the seafood, of course). The real star was the chef behind the counter, so skilled and incredibly patient, spending what felt like ages meticulously chopping and mixing everything with such care. Meanwhile, we probably devoured it in five minutes flat! The whole setup felt authentic and local, from the seaside location (literally where they pull in the conch!) to the laid-back Bahamian tunes and friendly vibe. Pro tip: don’t order the large unless you’re sharing, it’s massive and easily feeds four! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to taste the real local flavor of the Bahamas.
