Curries N Grills — Restaurant in Bahrain Island

Curries and grills is my favourite restaurant in Bahrain. They serve Indian and Chinese dishes.They have some hidden gems in their menu as authentic Odia offering which makes u feel like at home as u eat them, Egg dal tadka,Rasogulla and Chena poda to name three of them. There is no dearth of Indian restaurants in Bahrain but we didn’t come across any who does their preparation with so much authenticity and tastes always fresh. The attention to detail in the preparation makes the menu ingenious. Chicken egg roll- Our favorite snack. Egg Dal Tadka- Creamy dal preparation with tadka of egg. An authentic Odia preparation, highly recommended. Chicken Biryani- Succulent chicken pieces prepared with Basmati rice and a unique taste of whole spices. Another one of our favourite.(It comes with a tangy raita) Butter chicken- Wow! This is amongst the best Butter chicken I had ever. It is creamy with tikka pieces and has an authentic taste of the north. Absolute must have.

Authentic Odisha Delicacies – A Hidden Gem! Must try in Bahrain 🇧🇭

Had lunch here, and it was amazing! It’s a small place, best for takeout or delivery, but the food is absolutely worth it. The Egg Chop was superb, and the Schezwan Momos had just the right spice. The steamed rice with Rohu Fish Curry (mustard-based) and Chicken Curry was packed with authentic flavors, perfectly complemented by soft Phulkas. The desserts were a highlight—super soft Rasgulla, just like in Odisha, and the rich, caramelized Chhena Poda. Everything was delicious, and the prices were pocket-friendly. I have to say that Curries N Grills has the most delicious Tandoori chicken and kebabs in all of Bahrain that I have ever had. Because the tastes are harmoniously combined and absorbed into the chicken, it takes me back to my childhood kitchen. The butter chicken and the chicken curry from the main course portion are both really delicious and leave you wanting more.
