Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort — Restaurant in Dhaka Metropolitan

With my 7 years management experience in the same field and comparison with my previous stay on other five-star hotels, I can assure that this is a hidden pearl. why am I saying hidden pearl coz from the outside it just an ordinary building like oyster but inside is precious like pearl. The rooms are very clean, organised and the size of the room is above of my expectation. the thing I liked most is the qibla direction in the room. It has a great location. Everything is right in front of nose and very close to airport. I am very excited to talk about their services. I would say the service is up to the mark. the staffs are amazing. they are very friendly, and you will always find them around with beautiful smile. I would like to mention the name of Khadiza in the front office Cafe. she is very friendly & helpful. I also wanted to mention one of the front office staff but unfortunately, I forgot his name. now come to the food and drinks. they have one cafe in the front office, one buffet Lounge and one roof top grill. cafe is good enough for the little bites and refreshment coffee and the price is reasonable. when you will enter in the buffet lounge, its variety of cuisine and taste of the food will mesmerize you. but my personal opinion is the cost of buffet could be around 30 dollars. on bd perspective above $40 is little expensive. The roof top grill on 14th floor is perfect for the spend leisure time in the evening. they have beautiful garden and a nice and clean summing pool and excellent airport view. after all these positive experiences I had to end up with some disappointment too. the girl who is a fnb on rooftop grill is a racist. there was a table of two White guys and I in another table, that girl was providing extra service to them, but she was acting like she did not see me, even though I called her, she never comes to me, so I had to go to the station and place my order. another inconvenience happened in the buffet lounge on my 4th day of stay; they were not agreed to charge my dinner to my room. so, I had to pay on spot. which was insulting for me as a guest, and I didn’t like it. lastly, I have a little advice, this place is more like for the business people and events, the management should work on it to create more family atmosphere. in the end I would say apart from some small incidents I enjoyed my stay here and it worth my Time and money. I have no hesitation to recommend Dhaka Regency Hotel.
