Read moreI recently visited to Gojo Ramen for the second time and was really impressed by the food. First time when i visited the experience wasn’t good. But this time, I'm really so satisfied on food quality, the way they've improvised the standard of food quality. I ordered two bento boxes:
Makizushi (570 BDT) Nanban (590 BDT)
I also had spicy ginger beef udon (440 BDT) and chicken katsu ramen (380 BDT). Note that VAT isn’t included in the prices.
The bento portions are large enough to share between two, while the udon is perfect for one.
In the Makizushi bento, I enjoyed mixed vegetable egg fried rice with three flavorful pieces of soya glazed chicken. It included two teriyaki and two California maki rolls, which would taste great if dip with the sweet and tangy sauce. The chicken gyoza was perfect, and the nori tacos were well-made.
The Nanban bento had two pieces of nanban chicken served with delicious mixed vegetable egg fried rice. The nanban sauce was tastier than at YCD, and the chicken was crispy. It also came with four tempura pieces: two prawns, one potato, and one carrot, which were okay. The chicken yakitori had a nice sweet and sour flavor.
The spicy ginger beef udon was cooked with capsicum, carrot, cabbage, and ginger leaves, along with generous beef strips.
I highly recommend the bento boxes and the udon. If you don’t want to have a bento, then definitely try the California and teriyaki maki rolls, prawn tempura, chicken gyoza, and nori tacos(must). I didn’t enjoy the ramen as much, but everything else was delicious and worth eating.
I would suggest they should add fried rice differently in their menu. The taste of fried rice is really amazing. If someone order yakitori or soyaglazed chicken, so that customer can enjoy...
