I recently ordered from Chillox Mohammadpur, and here's my experience:
Food Quality: The presentation of the items was appealing. The Beef Burgers with French Fries were packed well, and the brioche bun added a nice touch. The Chicken Fingers were crispy and paired well with the dip provided. The dessert, "Tira-Miss-U," had a smooth texture but could use a slightly stronger coffee flavor for a more authentic tiramisu experience.
Portion Size: The portion sizes were generous and satisfying, especially for the price point. Both the burgers and the chicken fingers were filling, making it a value-for-money experience.
Taste: The taste was excellent overall. The burgers were flavorful and well-spiced, meeting the "spicy" and "very spicy" descriptions. The fries were crispy, and the chicken fingers were nicely seasoned.
Delivery Experience: The order arrived on time and in good condition. The packaging ensured that the food remained fresh and warm. However, there was a bit of oil leakage from the chicken fingers, which could be improved with better sealing.
Pricing: With a subtotal of Tk 1,095, a Tk 120 discount from the voucher, and a nominal delivery fee, the total cost came to Tk 965. This pricing feels reasonable for the quality and quantity provided.
Overall Rating: 4.5/5 – Great food and service. A little improvement in packaging would make the experience perfect.

Read moreChillox has long been recognized as a popular name for burgers and fries in Dhaka. However, over time, it seems the taste and overall quality of their food have declined. I recently visited their Mohammadpur (Tajmahal Road) outlet and, unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations.
We initially tried to order the Fish Tots, but were informed it was unavailable. We then opted for the Pankha Wings (Sweet & Naga), which turned out to be quite average in flavor. We also ordered the Pan Asian Mashup, which came in a very generous portion—easily enough for two people. The taste was decent but nothing particularly impressive. Lastly, we tried the Chicken with Sausage Burger, which, again, felt underwhelming in terms of flavor. The signature taste that once set Chillox apart seemed to be missing. It's possible that the experience varies from one outlet to another.
Beyond the food, the dining environment was also a concern. During our visit, one of the air conditioners was not functioning, which made the atmosphere uncomfortably warm. My wife and I found it difficult to enjoy our meal due to the heat—something that shouldn’t happen in a well-maintained dine-in setting.
In summary, while Chillox still holds brand recognition, this particular experience at the Mohammadpur outlet highlighted noticeable gaps in food consistency and customer comfort. A revisit might depend on how these issues are addressed...
Read moreChilox offers a solid burger experience, especially considering the price point. The burgers are flavorful, juicy, and quite filling, making it a great option if you're looking for something tasty without breaking the bank. The meat is well-cooked, and the bun is soft yet holds up well with the fillings.
That said, one area that could use improvement is the amount of mayonnaise they use. It tends to be a bit too heavy, which can make the burger messy to eat and overwhelming in taste. It also takes away from the flavors of the other ingredients, making it harder to enjoy the full experience. A more balanced use of sauces would really elevate the quality.
Despite that, the overall experience is positive. The service is generally quick, the ambiance is casual and relaxed, and the menu has a nice variety. With a few tweaks, Chilox could easily be one of the top spots for budget-friendly...
