Wendy's Sports Bar

If you are staying in Fitts Village or around, then you must visit Wendys. It's a semi outdoor sports bar, with a small shop and canteen style food outlet tacked on.

The local beers are plentiful and they do very nice cocktails for BDS$10 or less. British tourists and local alike gather here for football on the big screen and in the evening both tourists and locals share benches to enjoy some drinks and local food.

The main evening is Friday when they have a karaoke night. It gets quite busy so for a seat go early on (8 or so). I believe it opens until 0100 on Friday night (sat morning). There is a great atmosphere and the professional karaoke guys are great!

The food from the canteen style kitchen is great. Local dishes with different specialities every night. Try the Mac Pie, before it runs out, it's awesome. On Friday you can buy food until early morning. You know the food is good when the locals are coming here for takeaway and queuing up for it!

I only ever had ribs as my meat choice here and it tastes great, plus I got a decent amount both times I patronized the establishment. I was disappointed however, when I placed an order early in the morning, only to collect at lunch time and find out they did not have the pasta salad I ordered. When I asked to have chips instead, they said I will have to wait a while because there were people in the line also ordering chips. However if I placed my order hours in advance and was not informed beforehand that part of my order was not in stock, shouldn’t completing my order be priority? We were in town for one day as a cruise stop. I didn't want to miss the Liverpool game so Googled where to go. Wendy's popped up as the Liverpool's supporters club for the island. The minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome as if we were family. Many tv's to watch the game with friendly locals and many Britt's living on the island. The food is amazing and the drink prices are super reasonable. We had to get back to the dock after the game and the owner was super helpful getting us a cab. I can't recommend Wendy's enough.
