An enjoyable dining experience. Reasonable price by tourist standards, reasonably good service by European standards, so if you don't know any better it's fine, and the food was tasty. My guest had the whole trout, which she enjoyed although she had to fillet it herself as opposed to more sophisticated places where the waiter does that at the table. I had the medallions of beef which were cooked just as I had requested and was quite pleased with the quality of the meat. The plate of assorted Belarusian appetizers was perfect for the house horseradish vodka although neither of us could stomach the rolled slices of pure pork fat, which were unfortunately the most abundant item on the plate (does anybody really eat that these days?) I would have much preferred additional mushrooms and assorted pickled veggies. One suggestion: please have Belarusian arts, crafts, music and other cultural items on sale and in stock. I would gladly have spent as much as the meal again picking up gifts to bring home, such as for example children's t-shirts like those worn by the staff. A real missed business opportunity.
