Ichiban — Restaurant in Aalst

Unfortunatly not the best Sushi I ever ate. The portions where amazing, but sadly me and my boyfriend got sick the day after. I thought for the price we payed it would be good, but it wasn't. The Wasabi was terrible and came out of a package where it is filled with salt to conserve it and not tasty. the Suimono soup was not fresh at all since I have ordered this is other Sushi restaurants. The dishes don't even look like what's on the Flyer. for the price it sadly isn't worth it. on the otherhand I do understand, because of Covid you have less resources and everything is Take-away. but you can't keep the same price and lower your quality, that's a bit insane.

On a positive note, The Wakame was a delicious extra I never had in any other Sushi take-out so that's a big plus, the portion sizes are also...

Went there with a large group of people and got our own large table on the first floor. The service was good, especially considering the amount of people they had to serve in such a small place. We had the opportunity to have an all you can eat buffet for a very reasonable price (excl. drinks). The food, notably the sushi, was very good and freshly made, like it should.

The restaurant can be truly recommend if you are in the mood for some Sushi or other...

Very good food and good service. The only thing that can improve is the interior. You don't have the feeling of being in a Japanese restaurant.
