I had one of the worst dining experiences at Mozart Restaurant in Aalst. After waiting for over an hour, the manager repeatedly passed by, serving others with a smile while deliberately ignoring our table. He clearly acknowledged our presence but chose to neglect us.

When we finally decided to leave, the situation escalated hunting us on the street. The manager’s rudeness was beyond unprofessional—it was discriminatory. Because I don’t speak Flemish, he excluded me from the conversation, dismissing my presence entirely even though he clearly speak English. This wasn’t just bad service; it was blatant disrespect and exclusion.

When I tried to communicate my frustration about the treatment, instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, he chose to ignore me and make excuses for his unacceptable behavior. A restaurant that tolerates this kind of attitude from its management is one that does not deserve customers.

Delishes foods, if you are a meatlover. The menu has a good variety of products. The acoustics are a bit harsh so when the place is filled up (wich happens enough so make sure to put in a reservation) it can get a little loud. Bonjour, très belle découverte que ce restaurant à Alost. Vous allez être charmé par la décoration et l aménagement des tables sur 3 étages et dans une ancienne bibliothèque. Vous pourrez encore voir un pan entier de livres et au dernier étage, une très belle coupole, le tout dans un style classico moderne. Je vous conseille de réserver au moins 1 semaine à l avance. La spécialité sont les petites côtes (ribbekes ) qui sont savoureuses et immenses, 3 assaisonnements possible (sucré, épicé, naturel). Et si vous avez encore faim après, vous pouvez demander une demi en plus sans supplément. Le tout est servi avec une pomme de terre en chemise. Il y a des sauces sur la table pour accompagner la pdt. Le prix est de ( +/_ 20€), vous n êtes pas volé quand vous voyez le plat. Des wc sont à votre disposition à chaque étage. Il n y a pas d ascenseur mais le rea de chaussée est idéal pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Une carte avec d autres plats est à votre disposition.
