Bistro Pompidou — Restaurant in Antwerp

Arrived there at 19:30 for a refreshing beer with 2 friends, we were told there was no place available to have a drink. Half the tables were empty (all had a RESERVED sign for people wanting to have dinner), if we wanted a beer we had to come back at 22:00. One star is even to much for this place. I don't get it, if half the tables are empty, you could have put us at one reserved table. Now another establishment got our money for a nice refreshing beer and we left after 30 minutes. Just spend the evening here in this cozy restaurant/café . The sphere here is very nice and welcoming but it took a long time before you had your full course between your meals. There were also a few mistakes here and there with the drinks and sauce. Because of the birthday from my girlfriend I asked for a little surprise in advance but they didn’t do something about it.
