Murni Wilrijk — Restaurant in Antwerp

Visited yesterday first time and below pros and cons.

Quiet place surrounded by trees. Wasn't too crowded. Nice location next to middelheimpark, either accessable by car or public transport.

Menu, it was still not bad but price/performance ratio is low, there's cafes/restaurants where you get better options for paid price here. Service was oke, but feels isn't that friendly. Outside looks atmospheric, but half of lamps not working, a little bit investment on lamps and exterior might improve overall impressions)

Conclusion: A decent spot for a quick bite or drink, especially if you're nearby and short on options. But if you're looking to treat yourself or impress someone, it might be worth exploring...

Nicely located in the middle of the park, this place has an attractive menu, so it's easy to be tempted to stop there for a light lunch. However, I won't recommend having something other than a cup of coffee, beer or a bowl of french fries. The cold pressed juice I had was quite disappointing. 7 euros for a small water glass, it was too watery and they clearly put tonic to save on ingredients. Food was meh as well, it was supposed to be middle eastern style, but it was far from being rich in taste, it was just spicy I'd say. Service was also disappointing, we had to wait way more than usual before being attended. I think they can improve their overall quality and offer something that can live up...

I ordered food last night on Deliveroo, but I accidentally had wrote down a wrong house number on the app. When I called Murni via the app to try to ask if it was possible to change a house number on the bill, the woman on the other side of the line was EXTREMELY rude. I have never experienced anything like it. She blurted out that it's Deliveroo's & my problem and yelled that I have to contact Deliveroo instead of them. Maybe that's the case and it was indeed my own fault for writing down the wrong number, but the tone in which she shouted all this at me was really unacceptable.
