Burger King Wilrijk — Restaurant in Antwerp

I waited for 30 minutes when i ordered 2 veggie burgers and a can of monster. After i came home and took a bite, i noticed the VEGGIE steakhouse had real bacon on it. The burger itself was the vegetarian version though, how do you even mess that up? This isn't the first time it happened.

I genuinely do not understand how you can go "oh im making a veggie burger so i'll add the veggie patty and...okay, time for the real bacon!"

Usually their service is great and their people very kind and polite, so it's unfortunate that this has happened twice. Twice they've compensated me but as someone who's vegeterian for ethical reasons it isn't pleasant to have bitten into bacon twice so far. Imagine finding a piece of bacon in your food as a muslim, or a piece of catmeat...

I loved almost everything about this restaurant, the location, parking space and atmosphere. There was however very little interaction with the staff, because I ordered from the wall. I enjoyed my double Whopper with cheese and the fries were great crispy and 🔥. I had also ordered a Big King xxl which tasted unfortunately bitter because turns out the patties were burnt. I never thought that would pass the QC. Lesson learnt 🥺 Next time, I'm checking my patties before I take a bite. I never thought I had to, but now is all I will do. Ordering was quick and the kiosks all worked. Everything was being able to be chosen. It took a while for the food to get to us but that doesn't matter to us too much. We could see that the staff was working as hard as they could. The staff was very friendly however and was apologising for the waiting. There is enough parking and everything was nice and clean.
