Falafel King — Restaurant in Antwerp

Since we discovered Falafel King with the Too good to go-app, we regularly have dinner there. We really looooove the falafel here! Also a big fan of the black tea with fresh sage. And very friendly owner (who can even speak Italian :-)).

Update 22/4: I moved to Italy in the meanwhile but was visiting this week and didn't want to miss the opportunity to eat the best falafel in the city. It was pleasant to meet the owner again (I keep forgetting his name😊) who was eager to practise some Italian 😁. Love this place...

It was quick and the service was friendly. Reasonable prices. The bread was my favourite - gray, pillowy, and hot. The falafels were alright, I’ve had better and worse. I wasn’t too impressed by the the lettuce and carrots, but the cabbage and hummus were good. They have three kinds of herbal tea and ayran. If you like falafel or hummus, and you're in Antwerp, Falafel King is worth going out of your way to visit. Authentic Palestinian falafel with unbelievably tasty baba, hummus, and pickled sides served alongside just-baked pita. They also serve delicious sage tea that goes wonderfully with your meal.
