Bar Leon is the only bar that looks over Kruger plein. That doesn't mean it's lulled into its own success. This place delivers exactly what its appearance predicts. Service at the bar, nothing too fancy. The selection of beers on draught are timeless classics of most kinds. Wine is decent and coffee well above average. If you have a bar right next to a playground, and you don't let people with children in on a Wednesday afternoon, it's beyond me why you even bother being in the 'hospitality' business. I was standing in the rain with my kid, wanted to come in for a coffee and was sent away. They only open at 3pm ... School's out at 12.20,... They seem to dislike making money here, so I stay away to help...

Location: Bar Leon is located in a quiet area. It’s cozy, informal, really hip and alternative (nice contrast between the school tables and chairs, the couches and the black and white decorations).
