When it was time to pay for our bill the lady decides that they do not accept credit cards despite the fact that their google profile states clearly that they DO accept credit cards. Shady cash hungry operation, it took as about an hour trying to find a bank with an ATM with no luck (close to 10PM time) we literally had to beg for her to accept payment in US dollars and I’m sure that cash went to someone’s wallet!!...

We verbleven in de buurt en we wilden ergens dineren. Hier aangekomen konden we, ondanks dat we niet gereserveerd hadden een tafeltje krijgen. Het restaurant is niet heel groot. Maar voldoende tafels en een gezellige sfeer. Zelfs een klein buiten terras. (Deze wordt voornamelijk gebruikt door rokende en vapende gasten, van jong tot oud😳) De kaart is niet heel uitgebreid, maar op zich voldoende keuze. En goede prijzen. De bediening was vlot. De huisgemaakte spaghetti bolognaise was er smaakvol. Eigenlijk was alles prima, echter bij het afrekenen kon ik alleen of contant (anno 2025!) of via een QR code met Payonic betalen. Helaas werkt dat alleen met een Belgische bankrekening. Gelukkig is er schuin aan de overkant een cashpoint, oftewel een pinapparaat en daar dus cash...
