Villa Gerard — Restaurant in Bruges

hello, thank you for getting in touch. I do not believe that I will come back to your restaurant to eat. However I would like to let you know my opinion regarding your waiter working this day. On top of being extremely rude, almost to the point of aggressiveness towards her customers, including me and my nephew. When we came to the counter to try and pay our bills, we were aggressively told that the restaurant doesn't revolve around us and to go back to our table. We had already called almost ten times, she would look at us and ignore us. We also believe that she has taken our belongings and refuses to give it back to us. We have been sitting the whole time next to our umbrella, left the restaurant for 2 minutes and surprisingly our umbrella disappeared. I would like to note that I do not write this out of spite, however I can affirm that all the tables around us were empty.. a little suspicious. At that very moment we were at the point of calling the police, however we did not want to bring bad publicity to your restaurant and tried to understand that perhaps the waiter had a bad day and wanted her customers to acknowledge it. I believe that such behaviour does not have it's place in a business were interaction with the customer is primordial, however that is none of my concern. For now I would just like to get back what is mine, and go one with my day despite having had a terrible...

DOESN'T DESERVE ONE STAR

Had awful customer service and awful nachos. Decided to get pulled pork nachos between two and was full of fat you couldn’t chew and just nachos. No salsa, guacamole or sour cream which you would usually get given with all nachos I’ve ever had. These was going to cost us €15 which was a lot of money for what we was getting so expected good things and received awful food and awful service along with it. When complained was said they would give us guacamole on them and was rock hard and nachos broke when u tried to eat it. Just disgusting.

Service was dreadful, to start the man gave us the wrong order and we asked for the correct order and was then asked if it mattered what we had as it still had pulled pork. Dreadful customer service and not how you would react to a customer. Proceeded to then go out the front of the restaurant in front of us and smoke without a care in the world when we was trying to get served.

It took 25 minutes until a waiter came to take an order. Then another 40 minutes until we got what we ordered. Every time we had to make a lot of effort to get a waiter and when we asked why it takes so long to get the nachos. So the answer was that the kitchen is busy. No sorry, no I'm sorry. Very simply, apparently an answer like "the kitchen is full" . is legitimate for them.

Something else, not a problem but my opinion. I don’t like pork at all . And there is a lot of things that look yummy in the menu. , things that easily can be with beef . lem or chicken. But is all pork . I offer a wider selection, not everyone likes to...
