Updating this review as since 1 year the quality of service has really declined. Today we waited 25 minutes to place the order and then 45 minutes for the actual order, and they ended up still canceling half of it as they ran out of food by then. They should just let people order via QR code (as in Wolf Market or Rooftop58 and other locations), assign numbers to the tables and allow waiters just focus on delivering pre-paid food to numbered tables. This will save waiters the wasted time on looking around for people who ordered the food (as waiters taking the order are not the same with those delivering the order). And they should procure enough supplies so that they don't run out of half of the menu by noon. Such a waste of a beautiful concept and location! ___ Really beautiful location - very quite, relaxing and refreshing atmosphere in the nature. Simple, but tasty menu. Highly recommend to stop by during your walk in the Bois de la Cambre.

This is a wonderful place for warm days in Brussels. They have a great home made ice tea. We came here at the end of a long weekend. They coped with the busyness quite well - although there could be more of the staff taking orders. They’re run out most savoury things including ham for the croque monsieur - it’d have been fair to offer a reduced price for it and/ or an extra to compensate for the lack of the main ingredient. Sadly this didn’t happen; instead we got a very bland cheese toast with a tiny dollop of ketchup. Something to improve on in the future.

Simple sandwich’s and snacks in a beer-garden style shack located in the quieter part of the forest. Gets extremely busy on hot days, but you can order take-away and create your own picnic. I often have the Croque sandwich, which isn’t the best to be honest, but I come here for the location and to be with friends. The staff are rushed and do their best (it has the feel for volunteers). Family, Dog and kid friendly with a disabled accessible toilet at the rear of the building.

Disappointed!

The place looked cute and cool as we walked through Bois de la Cambre... but we should have kept walking.

Some 30+ minutes after placing our order, 1 drink we ordered (a tea..) arrived, but not the rest, and none of the food.

It then took literally 30 more minutes, and reminders to 3 different staff, for the rest of our order to arrive.

In that time we became very cold, and we never received any explanation or apology.

My partner's sandwich was ok, but my "Japanese" curry (clearly a reheated dish, not a fresh one) was cold.

I sent it back twice to be heated up, and still after all that I had to resign myself to eating a tepid dish in December.

This morning we woke up with sore throats, surely due to sitting there like idiots for an hour in the cold winter air.

Don't waste your time....
