The 1 sentence version of this review is:

This place is a massive 5/5 compared to everything around it!

The only review you need:

This is a very long review, but please consider reading this. It's way more detailed and intelligent than most other reviews.

I'll start by saying: I'm appalled by some of the reviews here. Some people give the service 1 or atmosphere 1. Which is ridiculous by itself. And then because of that, a bad overall rating aswell. I went to one of the top 10 restaurants in this country this year (Chalet de la forêt), and I didn't find it by looking for service or atmosphere, I found it looking for high Gault Millau rating (a rating which is exclusively based on food quality, nothing else), it coincidentally was a 2 star aswell. I've done more than 3 different michelin star restaurants in my life. And so I know what I'm talking about, unlike most reviews here.

Les Nuits des Cham is by FAR one of the best places in this neighborhood (I live here).

I honnestly don't care about service nor atmosphere. (eventhough theirs, is solid) What matters is their food quality! Many places around here get more than 4/5. But in actuality aren't at all worth that. So compared to the other places around here.

I give this place a huge 5/5!

Personally a 4/5, only because I leave 5/5 for perfection. (And I've eaten michelin star restaurants, unlike most people in these reviews) But other reviews are so ridiculous this place deserves a massive 5/5!

I will include 4 pictures. You MUST see! 1)The main dish 2)The tabula salad I got extra 3) The grill with wood, so you see what they use 4) The rest I got back home, which is always nice to be able to do.

This place has SUPERBLY cooked meat, done with wood. Which I cannot overstate! Which is by itself a massive positive! Just look at the picture, it's completely obvious!

The hummus on the left was perfect, the 2nd hummus on the right was my favorite (more citrus flavour, the left one is the standard one, more traditionally bitter)

The salad in between the two with aubergine which I love, lacked salt, truely my ONLY small complaint. Which is absolutely not a problem, just add salt yourself. Better too little than too much!

The fries were good, and nothing wrong with them. The standard lettuce salad was good too, even above average I'd say. The triangular spicy bread on the side which I think are above average aswell, is free, basicly, as are the fries, and the lettuce salad. The greek like rice enveloped in green leaf. (Sorry I don't know all the dish names by heart) Was solid. Maybe the greeks do it better. But no complaints! I loved it. The tabula salad was FANTASTIC, and I got the leftovers at home.

Overall the salads here are FANTASTIC!

Ok now about some people saying the price isn't set in stone. They're wrong. In fact, I wanted the hummus, and a sort of aubergine salad. Both 6€ each. But I was taking chicken wings (grilled on wood) 12€. So just that is, 24€. Well, they let me know that the hummus and that aubergine salad is included with the chicken wings. So 12€ instead of 24€. So don't tell me they screw you over!

(I personally wanted many things, I was prepared to pay 40, but in the end payed 30 because of the included dishes, which was EXACTLY what I calculated towards the end.)

In fact if you want to eat cheap I suggest you go for a grilled meat of your choice that includes those two salads.

For around 12€ you'll get: 1)Your grilled meat 2)hummus salad 3)Another type of hummus salad 4) an aubergine salad 5)the standard lettuce salad 6)fries 7)the special filled bread. ALL these for around 12€ depending on what meat you choose. Which is obviously a bargain. Enough said.

The mint tea is perfect (traditionally very sweet). Only 2€. Which is the same price as other places here, only you get more than one glass worth! (I drank 2.5 glasses) It's actually cheaper than most places around here. Amazing!

So for around 14€, you'll get around 8 items, and your stomach will thank you.

I hope this review gave you a much...

As for the food, I had barbecue there twice, once it was ok but today the chicken was dry and burned. For the service , they added a salad we didn't ask for, we assumed it's a side dish, easy to assume an entire chicken has a side salad. But they charged us for it at the end. 10 euro for a side dish is a rip off. Also it seems like normal practice when they don't like how much you order (2 people we shared one chicken) , I could tell because the server told the cashier that we ordered only chicken. But the cashier knew to add the salad automatically, and was very sassy about it. As for the atmosphere, it's unpleasant music mixed with staff shouting and using...

This was a very nice place to eat. The workers are helpful, friendly and generous people. The food was also great, we ordered BBQ and we all loved it. Afterwards they gave us tea and dessert (on them). Which added to the generosity. Its open till late. As for the parking, there are spots available in the street although you have to be lucky, with all the other stores and restaurants in the street. Either way, it's worth...

This place is so yummy and authentic! I’m Lebanese and came with my husband who also enjoyed the food! We shared tabouleh, hummus with beef, and the 1kg mixed grill. Enjoyed it greatly and staff was kind and generous! Would definitely recommend if you are in the area and looking for some delicious, authentic Mediterranean cuisine!
