Great place for chocolate and coffee. My mother and I stopped here the other day and had a lovely visit. The store keeper spoke excellent English and was able to help us navigate the various chocolate samples. If you like caramel you found your chocolate shop. There were many different caramel pieces to choose from. We decided to sit and eat our chocolate with coffee/ hot chocolate. My mother had the best hot chocolate (milk base) and I had an espresso. One of the best hot chocolates I have tried in my life, very rich in flavour and not too sweet. They only have one kind, so it’s not the fancy hot chocolate place where you can select the kind of chocolate you want. Rather, their main specialisation is confectionery. The hot chocolate was served with cream and a complementary candy. The combination with cream was great, although typically I am not a fan. What a scam! Advertising with fresh waffles, so I ordered a Belgian waffle. I saw the girl actually grabbing a waffle from the fridge out of a plastic wrapper and putting it under a panini press!!! I had already payed for it so thought let’s try it before judging but it was disgusting, dry and tasteless. It was covered in a layer of WAY TOO MUCH piping hot chocolate sauce from the microwave so made a huge mess. Had to pay €7,50 for this disaster. Ended up throwing it in the bin after 2 bites.
