Royal Kebabhouse - Genk — Restaurant in Genk

My recent visit to left me quite disappointed, as the overall experience fell far short of my expectations. To begin with, my party and I had to wait for an unreasonably long time before we were finally seated, despite having a reservation. The lack of organization and efficiency in managing the seating arrangements was quite frustrating.

Once we were seated, the service continued to disappoint. The food was served in a haphazard manner, with each dish arriving at the table individually, causing a disjointed dining experience. It would have been much more enjoyable if all the dishes had been brought out together, allowing us to share and savor the meal as a group.

Regrettably, the quality of the food itself failed to impress. The flavors were unremarkable, and there was a noticeable lack of variety in taste across the different dishes. In particular, the chicken dish we ordered was excessively seasoned, making it overwhelming and difficult to enjoy. It's disheartening when a restaurant cannot consistently deliver appetizing meals.

Given the unsatisfactory experience I had during my visit, it is unlikely that I will be returning in the future. I hope that the management takes these criticisms constructively and makes the necessary improvements to enhance the overall dining experience for...

It's an amazing place for fine Turkish dining.. We accidentally saw and ate a couple years ago.. Since then, whenever I'm around, I visit and eat there. I try to taste different dishes, and so far never disappointed. The "döner " is on another level, and the meat is on royal level :))

Last time when I had my family vacation in Genk, we visited there every night.. Also, as someone from the Netherlands, the prices are cheaper.

So, strongly suggested.. give it a try.. I hope and pray that they will never reduce the quality so I can eat proper food whenever I'm around Genk.. thank you very much Royal...

Update: 05-02-2023. Restaurant is verbouwd en nu plaats voor 75 gasten. Royal is nog zacht uitgedrukt, het eten smaakte " HEMELS" lekker. Het begint al bij de ontvangst. Medewerker Hamza zorgt dat er plaats word gemaakt zodat we met zijn allen aan een tafel kunnen zitten. De menu kaart ziet er goed uit, verschillende lekkere gerechten. Van vlees menu's, pasta, pizza tot Royal belegde hamburgers. Alles op de kaart is Halal. Bestelling word snel opgenomen door de vriendelijke Hamza en hoeven niet lang te wachten op ons eten. De presentatie van de gerechten is TOP en je krijgt echt veel geserveerd. Het smaakt allemaal heerlijk, vooral de verse brood. Zie foto's. 1 van de kinderen is jarig en word verrast door Hamza met een gratis drankje en om het nog leuker te maken met een versierde verjaardagstaartje van het huis. De glimlach van een kind is onbetaalbaar. De prijs/ kwaliteit is Super. Veel eten voor weinig. Kinderstoeltjes aanwezig. De zaak ziet er gezellig en verzorgd uit. Er is een toilet aanwezig en de ingang in rolstoelvriendelijk. Betalen kan contant of met de pinpas. Parkeren kan in de straat. Al om al SUPER. Wij komen snel terug.
