This place was always a left leaning community bar on the edge of the city, thankfully the new owners have respected this whilst at the same time upping their beer menu and offering interesting 'plat du jour'.
Many of the old locals are happy to embrace the upgrade, which has thankfully helped to avoid the place becoming a hipster hangout.
