Knokke Out Zoute by tero — Restaurant in Knokke-Heist

We went once, since then we have tried to go to Knokke Out in Waterloo on 3 or 4 occasions and on every single occasion we have been turned away, being told exactly the same thing – we are not regulars. It’s been the same bouncer each & every time.

However, as my wife asked the eldest bouncer on the door, IF you don’t ever let us in, how on earth do we ever BECOME regulars?!

We noted the younger bouncer looked rather embarrassed & uncomfortable at my question because perhaps he actually had some moral fibre and maybe would have preferred just to say, ‘Sorry, it’s just too busy and for Health & Safety reasons we can’t accept any more people into the club’. That, as a reason, we would have accepted.

BUT to give us a whole load of bullshit and actually say something that could incite anger and perhaps trouble outside the club if we were perhaps people of a more aggressive nature? Not wise - and actually not a very good way of handling people (especially slightly drunk people); a skill I would have thought essential as a bouncer, no? He even tried to suggest that my wife was a ‘regular’ and so was our attractive female friend (who has never been to the club by the way), but that I was not!

I would also suggest that it would be monumental feat of memory to recognise each and every single one of those, say 1000 people, who were at the venue that night, unless the bouncer has some form of autism I am unaware of and is in fact an ‘idiot savant’. But then surely, if the man has such a memory then he could be earning a lot more money touring the world showing off his amazing mental agility skills tor performing in LA, not working as an aging bouncer in a Belgian nightclub.

All we wanted was a few drinks & a bit of a dance to celebrate my husband’s 38th birthday - is that too much to ask?

We’ve now officially given up attempting to go there and are advising friends not to bother either and as you can see I am also putting my opinion very LOUDLY about Knokke Out on any review sites too. We are NEVER silent...

Sadly a bad experience in this cool location. We've been there during the Zoute GP, they were totally under-staffed and they had no plan how to deliver a proper service. We asked several times to get our beverages and they came up after 1 hour waiting time that the desired drink was not available anymore... come on..., it's Zoute GP, if you don't have stock on that weekend, how will you make money? Als ich mit meiner Firma und über 150 Kollegen das Knokke Out Zoute besuchte, um gemeinsam zu essen, zu trinken und zu feiern, wurden meine Erwartungen mehr als übertroffen. Der Abend war einfach perfekt!

Zuallererst möchte ich das hervorragende Essen loben. Jeder Bissen war ein wahres Geschmackserlebnis. Die Speisen wurden frisch zubereitet, waren von höchster Qualität und boten eine Vielfalt, die für jeden Geschmack etwas bereithielt. Egal ob Vegetarier, Fleischliebhaber oder Fischfan, das Knokke Out Zoute hatte für jeden von uns das Passende auf der Speisekarte.

Der Service war einfach ausgezeichnet. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und hatte immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Trotz der großen Gruppe wurde jeder einzelne von uns individuell bedient und keine Wünsche blieben offen. Das Team war stets präsent und sorgte dafür, dass es uns an nichts fehlte.

Nachdem wir uns gestärkt hatten, ging es auf die Tanzfläche. Die Musik, begleitet von einer beeindruckenden Lichtanlage, war einfach fantastisch. Sie sorgte dafür, dass die Stimmung den ganzen Abend über hoch war und keiner von uns stillsitzen konnte. Das DJ-Team hatte ein Gespür für den Geschmack des Publikums und erfüllte auch Musikwünsche, was den Abend noch persönlicher machte.

Das Knokke Out Zoute hat es geschafft, einen unvergesslichen Abend für uns zu kreieren. Die Kombination aus exzellentem Essen, freundlichem Service und mitreißender Musik hat uns begeistert. Wir können es jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einem außergewöhnlichen...
