Firstly I must say.. the guy that served us was outstanding! I have no idea how to write his name but I think it started with an N and ends in a T ???? So he knows whom this review is from ( we were the couple in the black VW camper that had been traveling around Europe for fours weeks) From the moment we walked in he realized we didnât speak great Flemish and was so helpful! Friendly and interested! It was lovely to talk to him about our trip and he was incredibly gracious in listening! He recommended food and beer and was bang on ! Thank you personally for making our visit extra special! ( you should get a bonus ) The food was delicious! Served in good time and presented well! The venue was clean and in a great location! I would have given a five star review but for the fact that the portions were sooo huge! It was impossible to eat everything ( and believe me.. I can eat) honestly.. I would rather have had a quarter less food on the plate! Paid a little bit less! And eaten it all! Than waste any!!    Read moreBij het binnenkomen rook het al lichtjes naar oud frituurvet. We kregen gelamineerde kaarten met het tapas-aanbod. Helaas was de kaart besmeurd met resten saus van de voordag. Toen mijn echtgenote vroeg om de kaart te poetsen kregen wij van de bediening zelf een nieuwe, helaas met nog oudere vastgedroogde sausplekken. Aan het ook zaten 2 jongere gasten die aan het krabben waren aan lichaam en haar. Bleek nadien dat ze daar ook werkten. In de tapa pulled pork was het vlees ver te zoeken en de kibbeling was rauw en koud van binnen. Naarmate het drukker werd in het restaurant werd de frituur meer gebruikt. Wij zagen ons dan ook genodigd om ons bezoek vlug te onderbreken omdat mijn echtgenote longpatiënte is en wij beiden last hadden van de stijgende geur van oud frituurvet.
