First of all, this place is good for groups, the food was ok and the show cooking is nice entertainment. I also believe the price was a bit high for what we got. You also need to have time, we got our starter 1,5h after entering, but after that the other courses came at a nice pace.

But let me explain why the 2 stars. We asked for Sake as a drink but what arrived was a far cry from the expectation. I immediately tasted something was off, some very strong liquor was served that tasted like a genever instead of a rice drink. Since I wasn't the only one with this feeling I asked to see the bottle (picture confirming my thoughts). When then the young server came, she kept saying it was real sake from Japan and even scolding me that I know nothing of sake (even if it said "product of China" on the bottle and I own several sake's at home). The arrogance of her and the other personnel was just too high, if I wasn't there with friends I would've left on the spot. One of the cooks then came and had me taste something else, which this time was real sake and to diffuse the situation replaced our drinks, still without an apology. Even though I had a nice time with friends this is not worth it and I would avoid coming...

I went to Sakura because a friend recommended the restaurant to me. She was correct. It’s an amazing restaurant! More than just a meal. It’s an experience! We tried the teppinyaki menu. I was seriously impressed and I couldn’t believe how good the price was. We were at Chef Ritiks table. This guy has some serious skills. Not only can he juggle and play with fire. He tells some great jokes and made everyone feel very welcome. He is also an amazing chef. All the food we tried was so delicious and I really enjoyed watching Chef ritik cooking all the food fresh in front of us. He was happy to answer any of our questions and explained the ingredients and cooking process as he went. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere, nice decor, very clean, drinks are really good, service was extremely fast and served with a smile. Highly recommend this place. I truly had a night to remember and an amazing meal I...

Remember a true story about this restaurant. It was a very late schoold day in KATHO in 2011. To be Chinese exchange students study here, we find out the bus back to our dormitory is past the last bus time. The restaurant owner from Wenzhou was eating the noodles for dinner and he noticed us. He's very kind and drived us to our dormitory. We really grateful for his help and hope this restaurant always have great business...

This restaurant was amazing. Not only did the food taste fantastic, certain dishes got prepared in front of you by amusing and extremely skilled chefs. The staff was very polite. It felt like a very authentic Japanese place. The only remark I have is that we had to wait a long time for our food, but it was a very busy evening as well. All in all a great/special experience!
