Het Vissershuis — Restaurant in Mechelen

Unfriendly. I am a computer engineer. GM of an IT company. I went together with my friend. They were very unwelcoming. We asked if we can sit outside like in the verandah. A short man playing pool said no at first but then agreed after we insisted. Then we asked for wifi. The lady at the bar said yes we have wireless but the short man said No.. we were having our beers and had a phone call with our friend. Then the short man said "This is not a conference room, you can not talk on the phone.this is a cafe" is this legal even to tell your customers can not talk on the phone in the cafe? I found it very narrow minded and racist behavior. It's a pity What ever may be the reason, we walked In to a cafe and not in to someone's home.. you have to treat your customers with respect. And you can not tell that we can not speak on phone ..thats is very impolite. Even if you want to say that there is a polite and educated...

Twee jongens van 14 gingen even schuilen voor een heftige stortbui tijdens hun wandeling in het vrijbroekpark.

De dame van het café eiste dat de kinderen iets gingen consumeren anders mochten ze niet onder haar paraplu schuilen. Het terras zat niet vol. De zaak was niet volzet. Er was nog plaats voldoende op het terras voor potentiële klanten. De jongens storen niemand door even onder de paraplu te schuilen.

Nochtans werden ze op een héél erg onbeleefde en héél intimiderende manier aangesproken en verplicht een drankje te bestellen. Wat een tristesse dat je zo moet handelen naar jonge mensen, die deden wat elk mens zou doen: even schuilen.

Ik hoop dat de 5,40 euro het waard was om 2 jonge tieners een mooi beeld te geven van onze maatschappij en de mensen die erin...
