Chef Khem — Restaurant in Mortsel

Very chaotic place and terrible hospitality. Only takes cash and refuse to give me any receipt. On the phone it took forever to ordered 4 Pad Thai with shrimpx2/tofu/chicken, the person on the phone was very distracted and rude. She told us to come pick up the food in 30min, but 30min later we arrived the food was not even made. A man was solo is the whole restaurant. When we finally took away the food, discovered that they didn’t even bother to note the different Pad Thai content, all 4 portions were with chicken. The food was VERY POOR, mostly consist of rice noodle, sugary ketchup and spicy sauce. The other ingredients were almost not existent... cost 12€ a portion, totally not worth the price for the food we...

Very casual and amazing Thai cuisine. Chef Khem used to cook at high class restaurants in Thailand but came here to open a tiny restaurant and to be closer to his customers. The all you can eat buffet on Sunday is the perfect moment to get to know dishes you haven't tried before. With casual, I mean very casual: expect all different kinds of plates, no two forks are the same, tables at random places and as much Thai decoration as there could fit but after your first bite, you don't really...

This place is ok. We went there on a Saturday when you're obligated to take the menu. Some dishes tasted very good other not so. We were forced to sit on a big table next to another couple. After we've finished our food we were left to leave because they wanted to seat other people. Definitely not the best hospitality. Don't go here for that... Food was cheap, that's the upside.
