By pure luck, on our way to Strasbourg, we were looking for any place to have dinner and turned off the highway to drive into the centre of St. Vith. The outside look of the Pizzeria Napoli looked very appealing and its outside posted menu even more so. There is only one way to describe our dinner experience - it was fantastic! Our main course consisted of Jakobsmuscheln - hailing from Montreal, Canada with very limited German we weren't quite sure - but the waitress said she thought it was Coquille St. Jacques in French - it wasn't quite that but assured us we were getting scallops or 'pétoncles'. They were exquisite. And, along with a glass of local Riesling weißwein and outstanding deserts: Tiramisu and Crème brûlée made it a gourmet experience. The food was great, we both had Entrecote and it was delicious. HOWEVER, I came for the Tartare de boeuf angus because it was mentioned on the menu at their website. Guess what wasn‘t on the menu when we arrived. The waitress told us they change the menu sometimes and I was very dissapointed they don‘t update the website as well. Therefore my rating is very low because I chose the restaurant specifically for that.
After making peace with my new dinner I held on to the prospect of an amazing dessert. I read about a waffle being loved by the locals and guess which dessert they didn‘t have. THE WAFFLES WERE ALSO NOT ON THE MENU.

Lots of choice at very competitive pricing. Locals seem to love this place for the desserts (check out the waffles). We were amazed by the super friendly personnel. Small remark: the restaurant doesn't take cards for amounts under 50€, which is ridiculous since merchants don't pay per transaction based on amounts any more since a long time.
