Pizza Hut Schoten — Restaurant in Schoten

Today it was horrible. Ages to order. The waitress didn't know of the pizza promotion of the month and went to fetch somebody who could know. I showed the the promotional email I got about the pizza basilico, for E6.95. I showed them in my cell phone, I want this one. She brought it, we ate it, the pizza was good, as described. When we paid, the bill was E18.70 each pizza. A bill of 20 Euros became 48 Euro, thanks to their ineptitude. Apparently she brought the medium, and the promotional price is good only for the small one or to take away. In addition, the male kids toilet was broken, no soap, no towels. Carpets quite stained. Ceiling panels with stains of humidity. And a good one, they ran out of Pepsi! We paid the bill and next time we go to a better pizza hut.

A year ago I gave a great review: is pizza hut, you know what to expect, all you need is the pizza to be properly baked, salads that are fresh and appealing and friendly staff. We've been in pizza huts where they don't offer these, and that is why I gave this pizza hut such a high score. People are very friendly, looks very clean and the staff...

I don't like to write bad reviews.. But every time I have come here the service has been below standard. The people working here don't have a clue what they are doing, I think maybe they're students who don't get enough guidance? This time also there were many mistakes made including being forgotten after being seated, being served other customers orders multiple times, one of our pizza drenched in oil, and a hot apple pie that was still frozen hard inside... They took back the apple pie to reheat it.... And left the accompanying ice cream on the plate so it was melted by the time the same piece of apple pie was brought back, reheated... Thid was not the first time we had bad experiences here so therefore it needs to be said. Maybe the management could step up and give the staff a little more guidance because they seemed genuinely nice but just clueless about what...

Ik ben altijd in voor de pizza hut; afhalen/laten leveren, doe ik iets meer, maar af en toe met de familie gaan we toch ook al eens ter plaatse eten. Dit restaurant is dus zeker geschikt voor familie-etentjes, kids vinden het ook altijd supertof. Het is een grote zaak met veel plaats.

Na shopping in de carrefour/brico/Inno en bv. en geen zin in macDonalds - allen ook daar gelegen - wel dan kan je hier terecht. Parking genoeg!

Je komt binnen - rechts is de kassa en je krijgt een tafel toegewezen. Kiezen op de menu, bestellen en je mag zelf frisdrank (pepsi, ice tea, 7up...) gaan halen naast de keuken: bijvullen zoveel je wil. Of misschien liever Maes bier, glaasje rode/witte wijn? Dat wordt aan tafel gebracht. Die mag je niet bijvullen zoveel je wil :-) maar bestel indien nodig gewoon even snel bij aan de bediening.

Naast de keuken, aan de frisdranken vind je ook meteen de salad bar (die ik persoonlijk niet zo groot vond voor deze zaak) maar die geregeld vers wordt bijgevuld wat dan wel heel ok is.

Of je kiest een van de voorgerechtjes op de menu: cheezy bread, lookbroodjes, American potatoes, chicken appetizers...

De pizza's met deegsoorten: pan (dikke deeg), cheezy crust (dikke korst met kaas) of classical (dunne bodem) belegd met wat je verkiest (kip, veggie, 4 kazen, zalm, tonno...) altijd smakelijk.

De bediening is heel vriendelijk en geduldig (altijd meegenomen met lastige kids of hardhorende oudere mensen). Ja professioneel!

Ik heb wel de indruk dat de medium pizza's die je ter plaatse eet kleiner zijn dan wanneer je die afhaalt/laat leveren.

Na het eten en eventueel dessert even afrekenen aan de kassa - er kunnen op die moment ook mensen binnenkomen en dan is het daar wel wat druk/krap aan de in- uitgang.

Niet goedkoop maar altijd heel smakelijk! Vergeet je eventuele...
