Fortune Garden — Restaurant in Sint-Niklaas

I have frequented this restaurant for almost 3 years, and always recommended it to people visiting Sint-Niklaas, so it was very upsetting that today I take my family there, who are visiting from another country, and we were greeted in a rude manner by the host as we did not have a reservation, however he sat us down right away. We were a party of 4 people and 3 of us asked for drinks, while we browsed the menu to get our food order ready, our waiter left to get the drinks, then the host who greeted us, came to our table and asked if my sister in law who did not order a drink wanted to order a drink now, she said "not really" and he rudely said "but you should order a drink" and she said "maybe later" and then he said in an irritated manner "its recommended that you order a drink its just how its supposed to be" so we were all really shocked at such a statement and his general manner towards us as we are all sat here to order food, and drinks should be completely optional and not forced on you, if one wants to NOT order a drink that shouldn't be a problem, they are still a paying customer. so my brother made a point to tell our waiter when he came with the drinks, that we will not be ordering any more drinks because of the host's attitude. which was completely unnecessary, as we would have ended up ordering drinks during the evening like on average 1-3 drinks per person or so like any normal dinner course. So they really just put us in a very negative mood for no reason, which ruined our appetite and the food took very long to prepare, and when it came, it was by far the worst meal I had there, So I am not going back there again, nor will I be recommending this...

We have eaten in many Chinese restaurants all over the world and this is one of the worst ever. Great decoration, but probably to hide the bad quality of their food. We ordered chicken satay and it wasn’t even close to real satay, incredibly dry and no satay sauce with it. The taste didn’t even come close to satay. The rest of the food was very mediocre too. We ordered glasses of water, specifically saying we’d like some tap water, like in most other restaurants worldwide. We had 5 glasses and got charged 14€ for this without even seeing the bottle of the brand of water we so called received, it totally tasted like tap water. The waitress that received us was very unfriendly too and not in a hurry to serve us while this restaurant was...
