ToThai Restaurant — Restaurant in Tienen

During a previous visit, we had a group of about 7 people and quite enjoyed ourselves. Our server was incredibly friendly and very patient with us.

I had the house cocktail, the MyToThai, which had campari and some other mixers in it - not bad of you're a fan of the slightly more bitter cocktails. We each received a mini spring roll with a bit of sweet and sour sauce for dipping after our waiter brought our drinks. My main course was Neua Nam Man Hoy, which was tender strips of beef in a rich oyster sauce with red bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions. It came with a big helping of sticky rice on the side. Really delicious. The beef wasn't overcooked ND the veggies melted in your mouth. I unfortunately didn't have room for dessert, but my after-dinner cappuccino with a piece of Côte d'Or chocolate was appreciated.

The restaurant started of very well a few years back with good food. It’s has now deteriorated with the food not authentic anymore. I had the pad Thai which was just boiled noodles in some kind of sweet chilli sauce and a few scampi added. It most definitely did not taste like authentic pad Thai, that I have eaten several times including in Thailand.
