KEKKO — Restaurant in Uccle - Ukkel

Kekko hits the mark on every category. The staff are incredibly friendly, flexible, relaxed, and competent. Their bartender knows how to make a great variety of excellent mixed drinks. The food was both refined and accessible, so much so that we plan on coming back with our picky 11-year old daughter, as she will love several of the dishes. The decor is hip and understated. Despite being on Chausee d'Waterloo, the rooftop terrace is quiet and leafy. The music play list is excellent, relaxing and edgy at the same time. It all adds up to a place that has a bit of the vibe of a hip nightclub with fine-dining quality food and the friendliness of a neighborhood institution. We also appreciate their willingness to accommodate us. Uccle can be a bit rigid with its reservation culture, and we like to be a bit more spontaneous. If you like spontaneity too, this could be your place if you have no plans one night and just want to walk into a place and have some fun. Incroyable expérience, pour commencer l’endroit est chaleureux, bien décoré et cosy. J’ai commencer avec un Kekko potion, un cocktail à base de mescal fumée et il était juste ‘’parfait’’, les plats sont soigneusement exécutés, on sent que le chef est passionné, pas beaucoup de plats, environs 14 et 3 desserts, tout était exquis et que dire du service, Flory et flaco sont là à nos petits sont et la sympathie est au rendez-vous, à l’étage une belle terrasse et un coin lounge. Alors que nos dernières expériences gustatives dans le coin se sont révélées décevantes, nous avons été très heureusement surpris par le Kekko : la formule de plats (délicieux) à partager est très agreable et les plats que nous avons pris : tataki de saumon et spare ribs nous laissent un goût de revenez y !
