A shining gem stone hiddin in a tranquil neighborhood in Uccle. It is a new restaurant that has just opened its door for two weeks. The interior design boasts the rich Chinese history, which is reflected from choices of its decorations. A stone dial, the traditional appareil of time recording is demonstrated by the entrance. Then there is a coat wore by Emperor Jiaqing in Qing dynasty hang shown on the wall. It is previously preserved and according to the owner, it has been borrowed by British Museum. The overall atmosphere is quite cozy and relaxing, the lights are not too shiny and the chinese lanterns provides gentle red lumination. Though it is a Chinese restaurant, it provides a rich choice of western alcohol and a gently cracking fireplace which reminds us that we are in the heart of brussels. The dinnerwares are finely chosen to be made of stone, too, that can sufficiently preserve the warmth. For the dishes, the tastes are suitable for both Chinese and European clients, with a balance of all ingredients. As soon as I stepped into the restaurant, I felt as if I had entered the owner's private collection world. Every detail exuded traditional Chinese culture. Let me start by talking about the two cocktails I tried as aperitifs ,it was really good and special they were unlike any I'd ever tasted in other restaurants. Now, let's move on to the dishes. Every single one was a pleasant surprise. In particular, the Dry Pot Chicken (干锅鸡)was incredibly tender and refreshing.
