Takumi Nanaban Ramen Kitchen — Restaurant in Zaventem

If you are a big fan of Japanese cuisine/dishes other than sushi. I definitely recommend this place! They have delicious curry rice & noodle (ra-men) as well as bento styled menu. You can easily find their menu online to order it or take the order in location instead. My colleagues and I visited this place twice, and we couldn’t be more than happy to order something different from other times. We ordered ra-men the first time (there are many varieties), and the second time was for the curry. They are both delicious, and portions were great (for curry, we got side dishes like miso soup and seaweed salad mix).

The taste of curry was definitely it reminded me of Japanese one. If I am not mistaken, the chef is Japanese (maybe not all of them). But I saw a lot of Japanese customers dining in this restaurant. so you can definitely be certain regarding on this restaurant being very popular among Japanese people.

Ra-men was also good, and I need to eat it again to have a decent review as it's been some time, so I can't comment it 100%.

Futher, the interior of the restaurant is great. I would love to eat at the restaurant next time. But it can definitely get crowded during lunch (depending on when). The staff are very friendly as usual and speak different languages too.

Super tasty bento take away menu.

We always order from Nanaban for lunch almost 1 or 2 times a week from work with colleagues, even during covid lockdown. I also order from Nanaban privately for dinner with my spouse. One day we wanted to order by phone but I suppose they were busy dealing with customers picking up takeaway orders. The clerk who answered forgot I'm on line while he dealt with otber customers, leaving my phone hanging. after the clerk finished helping the customers, he proceeded to speak with other employees, let alone he did not remember I was still on the phone line and could hear everything he is speaking. It was unfortunate to hear him gossiping about the customers he had dealt with while he had forgotten to get back to my call. Really nice place to eat (my personal favourite). Have quite some variety in their Ramen options (their specialty). Curry is nice and filling. Starters, extras, drinks and desserts are all very good here. Food quantity is very good when you dine in but when getting take out somehow seems less. Service is fast and good but the toilet facilities are a little lackluster (small, only 1 toilet and sometimes not the cleanest but it's usually just ok). Atmosphere is enjoyable but sometimes noisy. You can sit outside when there's good weather but there are one or two tables where I don't really enjoy sitting (tip: reserve in advance in a big group (about 6 to 8) so you can sit at the best spot in the restaurant).
