RumBum — Restaurant in Maya Beach

One of the best dining experiences we've had yet in Placencia. We were welcomed with a smile and a joke. Spoke directly to the chef. Everyone was so welcoming and personable.

And the food, the food was excellent. My wife said it was the best snapper she had ever had.

Everything was freshly made and the ingredients were fresh.

This place is the definition of "made with love".

I suspect this will be our go-to restaurant for the foreseeable future.

The most delicious fish I've ever eaten in my life. The chef is a true artist & so warm & welcoming! Must try the fresh passionfruit juice. No need for dessert, just a second glassfull!!
