Unfortunately for locals, there seems to be more of an emphasis on giving tourists and expats good service rather than locals (who will keep you business running when it’s slow). I visited with my boyfriend and we sat in the main seating area (under the roof). We got menus and waited about 20 minutes for someone to take our order. We even waived the server down and was told they’d be right there… they didn’t come. We then moved outside because we noticed the tourists that came after us sitting outside were being served without a delay. Unfortunately moving tables still didn’t help. My boyfriend walked up to the bar because we were tired of waiting. An elderly expat told the server to take our order. Finally, we were served. The tuna dip was delicious! The Miami vice was horrible! Instead of layering the pina colada and strawberry daiquiri, they blended it all together causing it to curdle.
