Divots Bar & Grill — Restaurant in undefined

The waiter we had was the worst I ever experienced. We inquire about the different type of fish and she just said it's all the same. Ordered a steak and we forgot to tell how how we want it done. We look for her at the bar area and she just rolled her eyes and said she put it in on how we wanted it. So I guess she is a psychic? When the food came, she was super friendly again. Smiley, chatty with us and the table next to us. We thought maybe she was just having a bad day as it was very busy. We told her we were staying at this guest house where you get a 10% off the food here. This was confirmed with the guest house and the other guests staying there. Our waiter said she have never heard such thing. Then we noticed we were charged for the wrong drinks and the side orders. Which on the menu it clearly said the side orders are complimentary with the food we ordered. She shouted "fine, I'll take this all off". Crumpled the bill and took off. She came back with the new bill and just threw it...

Horrible service. We came there for lunch, the whole place was empty - and we got the attitude from the waiter like 'how dare you come here'. There was no one at the reception desk, so we had to wait and call for someone to come over and allow us to sit. We asked for a high chair but had to get it ourselves from the big pile of high chairs - despite that, there was a tall male manager at the bar who could have helped with that. Then we had to ask to bring us a glass of water - after the cocktail had already been served. The food was good. But they included the automatic gratuity in the check - despite that nothing was done to make our meal pleasant. The manager eventually agreed to exclude the gratuity out of the receipt, but the general experience for the money we paid - and the place is rather expensive as for the 'casual' dining - was...

The servers/bartenders here must be able to read minds.

Every time that I have eaten here, someone has been available within seconds of me thinking of asking for something (whether the check, more food, or a refill on a drink). Possibly just coincidence, but help is never far away here.

The food is always on point, the drinks are made wonderfully, and the portions are incredible value for money. I have never been able to finish my entire meal any time that I have eaten at Divot's.

I highly recommend eating here for dinner if you are visiting the island. The food is excellent, the views are stellar, and the service is warm and attentive.

But make sure to call ahead and make a reservation if you want to be guaranteed...
