The Swizzle Inn is hands-down one of my favorite stops in Bermuda. Conveniently located near the Crystal and Fantasy reason—it’s full of character, history, and a relaxed Bermudian vibe that feels so authentic.
As the birthplace of Bermuda’s famous Rum Swizzle, the drinks here are a must. Whether you’re ordering by the glass or going for the full pitcher (trust me, you’ll want the pitcher), it’s a refreshing taste of the island that can’t be missed. The food is just as fantastic—think conch fritters, fish sandwiches, and perfectly crispy fish and chips. Everything feels hearty and satisfying, like the kind of comfort food you want when you're taking in the laid-back atmosphere.
What I love most is how this place brings people together. Whether you’re stopping for a Black Seal shot, catching a cricket or fútbol match, or just soaking in the lively energy, the Swizzle Inn makes you feel right at home. The quirky decor, with decades of signatures, business cards, and graffiti, adds so much charm—you can feel the stories and memories that have been made here.
This is one of those places you’ll keep coming back to, and I know I will. As their motto says, "Swizzle Inn, Swagger Out"—and trust me, you’ll leave with a smile, a little swagger, and a lot of...

Another great visit. Ordered the Wahoo Bites again, and it reminded us why we loved this place. We added Wahoo Burger Platter with Fries. This grilled fish burger was very good. Fish burgers can be a dicey bet when ordering out. This grilled burger was nicely seasoned and full of flavor.
Our Jug of Authentic Run Swizzle was as perfect as we remembered.
Check out the legit gift shop on the 2nd floor. We each bought some Swizzle Inn Swag, including my new favorite vacation tee.
We swaggered out after this delicious lunch.
2022 Review-
We took a taxi from St. George, about $20 + tip.
The Swizzle Inn did not disappoint. Our Wahoo Bites appetizer was so fresh and delicious. This is a shareable portion, or it could be a meal with an added side dish.
To celebrate the Inns British roots and our love of British Pub Food, we both had the Bangers & Mash that was so good it transported me to our vacations in England.
We did start our meal with the Legendary signature Rum Swizzle Jug, and it was yummy.
If you visit Bermuda 🇧🇲 visit The Swizzle Inn. Don't worry that it's a touristy trap. It is a tourist attraction for sure, but it's well earned with a breezy competent bar, talented kitchen, and...
Read moreWe went for lunch just after 11 a.m. on a Wednesday in mid-May. The restaurant was already partly full. The main floor has a low ceiling with dollar bills hanging from the rafters. We took a narrow indoor staircase (there’s also one outside) to the upper balcony, which overlooks the street. The view is great if you don’t mind the noise from trucks, scooters, and cars.
Service was prompt and friendly. I ordered a rum swizzle ($11)—delicious and strong, so be careful crossing the street afterward! The menu is wide-ranging, though they were out of a few items. Prices are on the higher side for a bar but typical for the island.
I had the wahoo fish sandwich ($23.50 BMD), served on raisin bread—an island specialty. It was hearty and satisfying. As we ate, more people arrived on foot and by car, including tourists and business visitors. Scooters came and went, picking up food deliveries.
There’s just one bathroom upstairs, which isn’t quite enough for the crowd upstairs, but it was bright and clean.
If I visit Bermuda again, I’d definitely return. After lunch, we took a photo with the restaurant’s cutout sign outside, then walked five minutes to the Crystal Caves—highly...
