Wow, wow, and WOW! We visited off-season, which meant limited food options, and after a few disappointing experiences elsewhere, we decided to try this pizza spot. The signs pointing to Govinda don't do justice to the exceptional quality of food served here. Whoever is behind this kitchen truly understands flavor. This is, hands down, the best pizza I’ve ever tasted! The ambience was pleasant, and the seaside view below was breathtaking. We ordered a bottle of Argentine red wine and started with bruschetta—divine from the first bite. The bread was fresh pizza dough, the olive oil rich and robust, and the garlic perfectly golden and crispy. Just wow. For our main, we had a pepperoni pizza with traditional catupiry soft cheese and a jamón serrano and arugula pizza. The crust was perfection. Paired with that delicious red wine and the stunning view, it was an unforgettable experience. People talk about hidden gems, and this place is absolutely one to seek out if you’re ever in Araçatiba. I can’t recommend it enough.

Very good food and great portions. We were on a budget and so went for the pasta over the pizza. Both were delicious and very flavoursome. What would have made it a 5 would have been a side salad served with the pasta’s to add a bit of freshness. But what was on offer was all very well cooked and the atmosphere is great.

Save some time and go on your first day/night/happy hour in Araçatiba, I went two nights back-to-back this place is so good. Some of the best pizza I’ve had outside of Italy! The owner and family are so friendly. Totally worth walking up the very steep stairs to be rewarded with a great view (probably better during the day/evening) and the amazing pizza, pasta, crepes, etc. I heard the owner switch between at least English, Spanish, Portuguese seamlessly when interacting with guests which I really appreciated given my lack of Portuguese. The Margarita pizza and the Argentinean caramel and walnut crepe were my favorite, tried some similar since and they just...
