Never again. We ordered our steaks medium, but one of them came almost raw. We would have been okay with that, but almost a third of our meat was fat. The guests next to us ordered the same dish (we asked the waiter), but got a way better steak, much thicker and with no fat. We would never have thought it is the same kind of steak. When we mentioned that to the waiter, he only said that every piece of meat is cut different and therefore is different. But the quality of two equal dishes should never be that extremly different. My boyfriend Mikael and I had dinner at Canoas, and it was an exceptional experience in every way – from the delicious food to the friendly staff and the charming atmosphere. Our waiter, Pato, was truly outstanding. He enthusiastically answered all our questions and shared insights about the restaurant's sourcing of fish and shellfish from local fishermen. He also introduced us to the Caiçaras culture and mentioned that the owner is one of them. If you find yourself on Ilha Grande, visiting Canoas is an absolute must! Fomos um dia e pedimos uma massa com ervas e camarão q estava ótima, minha esposa pediu uma massa com funghi e dps de alguns minutos o garçom disse que tinha acabado os cogumelos, então ela pediu outra massa com molho vermelho q estava razoável. No primeiro dia o atendimento foi bom. Voltamos 2 dias depois na intenção de provar a massa ao Funghi e de cara já fomos avisados que não tinha mais nenhuma massa. Pedimos então um prato de filé mignon com molho funghi para duas pessoas. Após cerca de TRINTA MINUTOS o garçom voltou pedindo desculpas pq tinha acabado o filé mignon, porém o pior não foi isso.. assim q ele falou isso, entregou um prato com filé mignon na mesa ao lado que tinha feito o pedido DEPOIS de nós. Reclamei com o garçom q se desculpou e informou q provavelmente foi algum erro na ordem das comandas na cozinha. Como estava chovendo, acabei ficando por lá mesmo e pedi outro prato com Picanha que demorou mais uns 40 minutos pra chegar (ou seja, mesmo após o erro, acredito q nosso pedido não teve prioridade e entrou na fila normalmente), porém o pratoestava muito saboroso. OBS.: A mesa ao nosso lado q tinha recebido o filé migon, depois q já tinham começado a comer, reclamaram de alguma coisa, devolveram o prato e foram embora.

Erros acontecem, mas apenas pediram desculpas pela demora e não demonstraram nenhuma preocupação pela sequência de falhas. Em uma mesa muito próxima a nós, tinha um rapaz sentado que acredito q seja o dono ou gerente pois conversava com todos os garçons e circulava entre o caixa e a cozinha. Ele ouviu todas a reclamações e em momento nenhum se manifestou ou falou com a gente, demonstrando total descaso.
