Absolutely stunning experience in Atins, the best.

Lovely restaurant next to the main road with a deck of candle lights table.

Host and waiters were very friendly and clear, walking us through the experiences offered by the chefs,

Starters were surprise: marvelous crab soup, watermelon with spicy fish and queijo filled tapioca.

Two options for entree: mar ou terra. We ordered both and were blown away by taste, presentation, flavors. No winner here, happy of have enjoyed the two of them.

Dessert was outstanding.

Great atmosphere and drinks prepared with local ingredients and fruits.

Service was very friendly and knowledgeable.

As longer we stayed as worse it got!

We ordered the 3 courses fish menu. After the delicious starter the main course was good, but served cold. Then we waited and waited for the dessert course, we asked for but continued to wait. So after 30min I asked for the check and spoke to the manager. She explained a reservation came as group to late and they had to serve them first and all others had to wait! While paying she managed the dessert to come, but only 3 for for 4 persons! Additional the parfait came out of the fridge, not possible to eat, as it was frozen! What a surprise to get probably the best vegan meal I have ever had in my 4 years of veganism, here in Atins! They serve a 3 course dinner (with 3 different starters in my case), vegan upon request. The flavors as well as the presentation was just incredible, the service impeccable. Well worth the price! Best to reserve a day or so in advance, not because of space but to let them know you're vegan and for them to plan accordingly (remember Atins is a pretty remote village!).
