I'm only reviewing this place on the food . The views are obviously 5 star but you get that anywhere along the coast here so it isn't a reason to eat here.
The food is expensive. R$90 for the two person dish plus service tax. We were recommended to eat here so we gave it a go expecting good things.
We had the local fish for two. We got plenty to eat due to the rice and fish soup, but the quality of the food was poor, which is a pity because the local lake fish deserved better. The local fish itself tastes great, but the batter on it had no flavour or seasoning, the chips weren't hot and had no salt or other seasoning. The dish wasn't served with any sauces, and when requested, the options were limited to ketchup and some chilli sauce. They also didn't have pepper, which is shocking for a restaurant and tells me they have no idea how to treat food properly.
This place would be amazing if the food was properly seasoned, served hot, and served with some...
Read moreArrived by boat from Airbnb we are using. Appearance is very inviting. However that is where this place went from 5 stars to 2. Menu variety pretty decent. Ordered shrimp with garlic sauce, no shell. Shrimp came with intestines. Two people out of our party took a bite, rest went back. Ordered shrimp stroganof and asked they clean the shrimp intestines out this time. Our waiter Mauriçio said would take care of, but came exactly the same. FYI, fish cakes come from fish in polluted lake (low treated sewer water they release on other side of lake where you can't swim) that they are on. Would not recommend unless you want to be hugging some porcelain before you get back home.
