I have been to breweries all over the world. The beer here is world class! The Pilsner reminds me of the one I had in the Augustine brewery in Salzburg, easy drinking and well crafted. The barrel aged beers are better than any thing I’ve had in the Bay Area of the US, subtle, yet complicated. They use oak from various aged distillates, but also Amburana, a little known Brazilian wood that give an amazing depth of flavor. If you choose to only taste one, “lager oak” it is!!! If I had to go to a desert island and I could only have one beer for the rest of my days, it would be lager oak! Without a doubt 😀 Food is also delicious! Don’t miss the bolinho 277, the Dadinho, the burguers, the picanha, the fish and chips, so many nice dishes it is difficult to suggest one only.
