I went to thos restaurant for an early dinner as I had an important meeting at 8pm. We got the and Douglas was very friendly and accommodating. Thw food was pretty good . Things unraveled when we ordered a dessert. It took over 20 minutes and it did not arrive , Douglas came and checked on our table and seemed surprised that we had not gotten the dessert. He left to check on it and by this time it was getting close to our appointment time. We waved over another waiter and told her we wanted the bill because we had to leave. She said she was going to get it A different waitress came over and said she was going to look for our dessert. We said we did not want it we wanted to pay tje bill because we had to go. We walked over to the cashier to pay and the lady said oh wait they went to pack up the dessert. We again told them we don't have time to wait. Again we asked to pay. The other waitress came back and before handing over the package asked if we paid for it!! Can you imagine such rude service. The dessert was ice cream, I had to pay for a dessert to go that I could bot eat because it melted. No apologies just rudeness. Such a shame it wasn't over the cost because our bill was over 300rs it was just very disrespectful of our time . Again no apologies just the words that this never...
Read moreWe had an amazing night here at bendito bar e reataurante - Foz do Iguacu. We were on a South American tour anschad come here as a recommendation from our tour leader. This place was amazing. Food was great, vibe was great, meals were good value for money, and last but not least our waiter Douglas was the best. Douglas was very warm and pleasant. He was helpful -- we couldn't speak Spanish and he was very accomodating to explain things in English to us even tho he said he only spoke it a little. He also made sure to check on us a few times to make sure we were having a great time and everything was perfect. We got the mignon especial which was 258 BRL (48 USD). It was filet mignon (probably around 6 pcs of 100 gram steak) served with a side of rice, veggies and chips. It was so huge -- even two people couldn't finish it! The place was nice and quiet, and had a very chill, relaxing vibe to it. Somewhere where you could have a nice conversation over a relaxing dinner. 10/10 for me for this place. If you ever visit Foz de Iguazu, make sure you come...
Read moreI came here on the recommendation of the tour guide. They are located right across the Paraguay embassy. This is a very family-friendly place, they have a separate area for the kids to play and dine in.
The staff was super welcoming, and despite my limited Portuguese, I was able to communicate mostly in Spanish. Douglas was my server, and he was awesome. He really went out of his way to explain everything on the menu and answered all of my questions. I ordered the traditional lime Caipirinha along with the fried chicken salad. The salad was huge, but I was a bit surprised that the chicken was just chicken nuggets. I got a small side of fried yuca that was really good. For dessert, I went with the fried churros since they made them in house. The churros were delicious, definitely recommend! They have an extensive menu with meats and seafood options. If I had more time in this city, I would return and try out more of the menu. The prices were reasonable considering this is a...
