One of the nicest meals I’ve had in Brazil. Huge, home cooked portions with fish freshly grilled on the bbq outside. Unbelievable value for money and attentive service. The staff were lovely- Veiga in particular ensured that we had plenty of drinks, gave us a map of the local area he’d made himself and even gave us recommendations for places to eat further on in our travels. This is a great little restaurant with riverside seating. We went in the evening at about 7pm and had the Barreado, plus Artesanal choppy and Caiprianhia. The food was so tasty, as were the drinks and the waiter brought us a taster of the traditional Barreado beforehand so we could decide whether to order it as our main dish. O restaurante é pequeno e simples, mas bem agradável. Tem mesas na pequena área interna no térreo e no piso superior, com ventiladores, mas é quente. As mesas mais agradáveis estão à beira da rua, do lado voltado ao rio. À noite, estava um vento fresco. Durante o dia, também deve ser agradável, pois a área é sombreada por grandes árvores. Caíram algumas folhas/flores, mas poucas, nada que atrapalhasse a refeição e a vista do rio é bem bonita. Tem uma variedade de porções, petiscos, lanches e refeições. Jantamos uma refeição de pescada e outra de bife. O prato individual é bem servido e a comida gostosa. A salada é variada e bem caprichada.
